Are you happy 2021 is over? I am. Everyday was a constant struggle. I would get things done, make headway and then something crazy would pop-up. Mainly from “outside” sources. I try to live a calm, peaceful and tranquil life, yet I seem to be a magnet for problematic people. Do you ever meet people that like to make things more difficult than they should be? If it’s not craziness, chaos or confusion, they’re not having it. This kind of behavior often puzzles me, because I try to make things as simple and easy as possible. I am not for arguing, fussing or fighting.
This New Year’s photo-shoot almost didn’t happen. I woke up December 30th with a super-swollen foot and leg (below my knee). I went to the emergency room and they immediately put an IV in my arm. The swelling went down, Thank God. I was in the hospital for a half a day and then they discharged me. I went to the pharmacy, came home and slept. When I woke up, I felt really good. I said to myself, I am going to take these New Year’s pictures. This was a nighttime photo-shoot. Whatever was in those IV’s sure made my skin glow. HaHaHa I had so much fun!
I see every New Year as a FRESH start! A NEW beginning! It’s a time to really evaluate what works and doesn’t work in your life. Whatever doesn’t compliment you, let it go! You must fill your life with people and things that will make you happy. However “difficult” people help you grow. I’m looking forward to my upcoming 50th birthday. A milestone huh? I have a couple of dreams, wishes and desires for that. I’ve already made plans for my mom’s birthday. I wanted to see Bruno Mars and Adele in Las Vegas, however Omicron stopped me from seeing Bruno and the ticket prices for Adele put a stop to that concert. HaHaHa
Overall, I look at my life and know that I’m truly blessed. I’m very thankful. My ultimate wish is LOVE. Love still eludes me. But I know God has a plan and purpose for my life. Again, Happy New Year Everybody! I Love You All!
