The Suite Life At The Windsor Court Hotel, New Orleans

Towards the end of last year, I kept asking myself what would I like to do for my birthday. I wanted the occasion to be relaxing, enjoyable, special, memorable and also delicious, because it’s a milestone birthday. I decided to book a five-day stay-cation for myself and mom, at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans. The Windsor Court is a five-star luxury hotel, that’s located in downtown New Orleans. I’ve attended several of their afternoon tea offerings. However, it’s always been a dream, wish & desire of mine to stay there. I thought, what better time to do so, than with a birthday celebration.

As you get to know me through my blog, you’ll find I love staying at boutique hotels, hotels with history and hotels with beautiful suites. I always ask myself, why do I want to stay at a particular hotel? One reason I wanted to stay at the Windsor Court, is that it houses an art collection valued at more than $10 million dollars, from more than 60 artists dating from the 17th century to late 20th century. The second reason I wished to stay, were all the wonderful things I heard about the The Grill Room. The third reason, I wanted to stay … I’ve always wanted to stay in one of their suites.

When making reservations, their premium suites appealed to me because of their spaciousness (800 sq ft) and the duration of our stay. The suite’s layout is so beautiful. It has two queen beds (you can request one king bed), french doors, dressing & vanity area, sitting area, dining table and chairs, two flat screen televisions, stocked & empty refrigerator (upon request), microwave (upon request), wet bar and private balcony. I didn’t know which room to frolic in first! HaHaHa Each area was so beautiful. It was so cozy and comfortable! You felt at home. With my Birthday, Superbowl LVI, Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras all rolled in one, I knew I would enjoy each and every section of this suite.

The Windsor Court Hotel offers many amenities. They have a gorgeous rooftop pool! It is absolutely breathtaking you guys. It’s private, sleek and sophisticated. There’s a spa and fitness center. The hotel even offers a pampered pets program. Cafe Anglais is the cutest gift and snack shop! They offer an assortment of juices, spirits, wraps, sweets, bakery items, Windsor Court items and New Orleans goodies.

I thoroughly enjoyed my ENTIRE stay at The Windsor Court. Upon arrival, the valet guys were happy, spirited and upbeat. They put a SMILE on my face and got me excited about my stay. Front desk and concierge were always knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The waiters and staff (The Grill Room, Le Salon, Cafe Anglais, In-Room Dining) were the absolute sweetest. Upon leaving, my mom and I were given a ride home by one of Windsor Court’s private drivers. How special do you think that gesture made me feel? My face lit UP! It was the icing on the cake. The cherry on top, of an exquisite stay! I can’t wait to go back. Everything about the Windsor Court is FIRST CLASS!
