If you would peruse my wardrobe, you would find a plethora of black clothes. I love neutrals (beige, taupe, gray, cream, brown, white) and black is my favorite out of all of them. I have several little black dresses in my closet. The one I’m wearing below has a scoop neck and 3/4 length sleeve. I love this dress (you can find the link and picture to purchase this dress in this post) because it is comfy, looks & feels great and is inexpensive. You don’t have to pay a lot to look fantastic.

It’s currently pretty chilly (50 degrees is chilly for us in New Orleans LOL), so I paired this dress with tights. I can also get away with this dress in early Spring and pair it with some cute sandals. You don’t hear much about hosiery anymore. I remember one holiday working in the hosiery section of a department store. A gentleman purchased a years worth of hosiery for his wife. I thought he was exemplary, because hosiery was expensive even back then. I still keep a few pair, in basic colors (black, navy, brown) to wear during the winter months. They make your legs look good and keep them warm.

Lancôme PR sent me some beauty goodies to review on A Very Sweet Blog:

I’ve been wearing Lancôme’s L’Absolu Rouge Drama Ink Liquid Lipstick in Nuit Pourpre (481 – Cool Merlot Purple – as shown in the pictures below) non-stop. I love this color! There’s a color for everyone and the formula is perfect.

I’ve been interchanging two perfumes by Lancôme this Winter: Lancôme Idole Aura and Lancôme Idôle L’Intense. Both have their own personalities and are absolutely beautiful. I’ll give you a hint. One is perfect for day and the other will bring the ooh la la to your evening (it’s sexy).

The next product I’m wearing that you can wear either day or night is Lancôme Lash Idôle Mascara. I’ve been wearing it all year. It’s feather-light, separates each lash and makes your eyes look great. I’m wearing it below. I love natural looking lashes.
