My Thanksgiving Home Decor 2022

Yes, Thanksgiving is over! LOL And, I’ve already posted videos of these pictures on Instagram. But I still wanted to write a blog post about my Thanksgiving home decor. I don’t know where the time goes, but I swear the holidays move so fast!

This year, I decided to decorate the sitting nook in my bathroom. It’s a really cute space (spa bathroom), that has a bench pad and two pillows. I was looking at it one day and thought, why not add a little holiday spirit to the bathroom!?!

I have many holiday wreaths. You can only put one wreath on a front door at a time, so I thought this blank wall could be graced with a wreath. I’ve had this wreath for at least 15 years (it has held up well). Yaaay for reusing and repurposing.

I then added these beautiful Fall pillows that came out this year from Grandin Road. The flowers and leaves on each are truly beautiful. Don’t worry if you don’t see them on their website, they will most likely have them again next year.

You may remember, how I set up my kitchen last year for Thanksgiving. I expanded on those elements. I loved my decor, but I felt the table settings were too plain. Well, Pottery Barn came out with a beautiful Harvest Pumpkin Dinnerware Set. Usually I stay away from busy designs, but thought it would help bring out my table. It’s an assortment of orange & white pumpkins. I finally used the white pumpkin mugs that I purchased several years ago. I reused a Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice and Fall bicycle pillow on the kitchen bench. I think it all turned out nice.

For Thanksgiving, I had baked turkey, dressing, peas, potato salad and seafood gumbo (see my Instagram reel). I’m just thankful for my health, home and loving people in my life. I hope your holiday was a blessed one.
